About Angie
As with most artists, Angie had an innate desire to paint at a very young age. One of her earliest memories is being captivated by an artist painting in his studio. Her love of sports card collecting was her inspiration to create paintings of her favorite athletes. These particular paintings highlight her unique talent while capturing her subjects in the spirit of triumph…as if the artist of the canvas is honoring the artistry of the athletes.
Although Angie knew she had the heart and soul of a painter, she struggled to embrace her calling until adulthood. She began painting with an airbrush, realizing that an airbrush limited her, she challenged and educated herself to use a variety of art mediums and has opened her mind to creativity without limitations. Not limiting her to one style .
Some of her magnificent paintings are in private collections of the athletes, galleries, and fans. Angie’s gift of spotlighting the spirit in the athletes has been so well received that some of her work has been in the annual Baseball show in the George Krevsky Gallery , Galleries affiliated with baseball’s Hall of Fame, and currently shows at the BallPark Gallery across from AT&T Park in San Francisco. On game day you may just find her there painting!
Awards and recognition are not the motivational factor that drives Angie . It is the need to make art and find her own voice and let it speak volumes to all who will listen through their eyes.
